100 Years of David Attenborough: A Reminder to Share What We Love
This week marked the 100th birthday of David Attenborough. His life reminds us why connection to the natural world matters — and why Noojee's stories deserve the same care.
This week marked the 100th birthday of David Attenborough. A century of curiosity, patience and storytelling — and a lifetime spent showing people places they might never visit, so they would care about them anyway.
His life is a reminder that knowledge and passion are for sharing, not keeping. The naturalists, foresters, gardeners and quiet observers of Noojee hold stories about this valley that deserve the same care.
No one will protect what they don't care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced.
When we asked people about Noojee, the answers kept circling the same feelings: “I have beautiful memories there.” “It's the kind of place that needs to be cared for.” A place that should be shared but not overrun, protected but not unsupported.
That is the thread NNEST wants to pull on. Connection creates care. Experience creates respect.
