This week marked the 100th birthday of David Attenborough. A century of curiosity, patience and storytelling — and a lifetime spent showing people places they might never visit, so they would care about them anyway.

His life is a reminder that knowledge and passion are for sharing, not keeping. The naturalists, foresters, gardeners and quiet observers of Noojee hold stories about this valley that deserve the same care.
